Why do we fail?

There is a comfort in failure. Or, a safety rather.

Think about the wolf compared to the pup for a moment. The wolf is fierce and great and tenacious and she is expected to hunt. The pup is young and naive and weak and he is expected to need providing for.

However, when the pup becomes a wolf, there’s a massive shift. Suddenly, the wolf is now a hunter and hunters are expected to hunt. They’re expected to win.

We humans fail not because we are incapable but because it is comfortable. Failure comes without expectations, pressure and responsibility.

Winning, however, is different. You win once, you’re expected to win forever.

Why do we fail? Because we don’t want that pressure.
