Celestial

Sometimes it feels like her and I are sailing through the milky way galaxy on entirely different spacecrafts, blazing through the black abyss at 17,500 miles per hour and with careful planning, copious amounts of fuel, blind faith and perhaps divine intervention from some celestial being... we’ll end up on the same moon for an afternoon and if we’re lucky for a weekend. And, we’ll just exist there, alone, just the two of us for a good while, watching the stars and the worlds and the comets go by, forgetting about our ambitions and explorations and dreams. And, it’ll be beautiful. It’ll be the most beautiful moment in the universe.

And, then, one of us will decide it’s time to go.

P.S. One day these one minute writings will be a big book called “One Minute, Please.” Can I let you know when that day comes? You can say yes, here.
