Eventually, all of us must come to find that we ourselves are enough. Reassurance and outside validation are like drugs to the addict. They feel good and at times even lovely. But no hit will ever be enough.
I’ve met countless beautifully talented people bursting at the seams with endless potential. When I look at them I see queens and kings and queendoms and kingdoms within arms reach. I see these demigods with all the power in the world, yet they remain slaves to outside reassurance and validation.
If no one has ever told you, please allow me to. You’re more powerful than you think you are. You’re more powerful than you think you are. Yet, me saying it and even repeating it doesn’t matter because that belief needs to come from within, deep down in that cold place behind and below your heart where they say your soul lies. You need to know your greatness and eventually, you need to know that you knowing it will forever be enough.

P.S. One day these one minute writings will be a big book called “One Minute, Please.” Can I let you know when that day comes? You can say yes, here.
