My brother's keeper.
During my first week in Belarus I met two gents from the U.K. who I grew to very much adore. The three of us would stay up late in the hotel lobby and remark on how affordable wine and spirits were in Eastern Europe. We would then celebrate this affordability by purchasing a bottle of wine and then another and then another. The four nights we spent together were filled with conversations I will remember for the rest of my life. They left the country yesterday and today I’m overcome with melancholy. It feels a bit like finding out you have a pair of brothers across the world, getting to have a four day slumber party with them and then realizing you might never see them again. They don’t know it yet but both their names have made it onto the large list of beautiful people this book will be dedicated to.
Fuck, I might even cover overseas shipping.

P.S. One day these one minute writings will be a big book called “One Minute, Please.” Can I let you know when that day comes? You can say yes, here.
